Psychology Definition according to Experts

DEFINITION.TODAY - What is Psychology? Psychology is the science of behavior and thought, encompassing all aspects of both conscious and unconscious experiences.

Literally, "psychology" is a word derived from Greek (Greek), namely: (1) psyche meaning soul; (2) logos which means science. So, psychology is the science of the soul or can be called science that studies the psychology or the study of the phenomena of the human psyche.

While in general, psychology is a science and applied science that study the behavior and mental function of human beings scientifically.

Psychology is an academic discipline and a social science that seeks to understand individuals and groups by building general principles and case-specific research.

Researchers in the field of psychology is called psychological, while people who are experts in the field of psychology called  psychologists.

Because psychologists have different emphases, the definitions are different. Here are some of the definitions formulated by the experts:
